Sample Sale

In making my animals by hand, each piece is unique.

The sample sale pieces are either slightly misprinted, mis-stitched, or pieces where I have experimented with different fabrics and colours that haven’t quite made it into my current collections but will not go to waste. They are still beautiful and functional even with their imperfections and are hoping to find a loving home :)

Description

Charcoal print on a gorgeous stone blue cotton with check handloom cotton lining. Finished with grey satin ribbons to tie around the head.

Immersive and enchanting as playful costumes, these special creatures are just as beautiful hung on the wall to add a touch of whimsical charm to any child’s bedroom, and will become heirloom pieces long after the playing is done.

Materials and Techniques

Illustrated, hand printed and handmade in my Cornwall studio, working from an archive of textiles mindfully sourced from India, or reclaimed from the costume and fashion industry, carefully chosen for their quality and ethos.

Due to the handmade nature of Animalesque headdresses, allowances must be made for slight discrepancies between each piece.

(OS) One size to fit both kids and adults.

Each headdress ties around your head with ribbons, making them adjustable to fit all head sizes.

Measurements: 36cm by 14cm. Ribbon length 50cm
