Description

Charcoal print on a soft baby blue cotton, lined with thoughtfully mismatched striped cotton. Finished with red satin ribbons to tie around the head.

Materials and Techniques

Illustrated, hand printed and handmade in my waterside studio in Cornwall, working from an archive of textiles mindfully sourced from India, and surplus from theatre costume and fashion wardrobes.

Due to the handmade nature of Animalesque headdresses, allowances must be made for slight discrepancies between each piece.

Size

This headdress is made in one size with adjustable ribbons to fit all head shapes and sizes.

Measurements: 38cm by 15 cm. Ribbon length 50cm.
