Description

The Bastet Gold Cat is screen printed in charcoal grey on gold silk viscose giving. Lined with block print cotton and finsihed with antique gold satin ribbons.

Inspired by the Bastet, the Ancient Egyptian Goddess of home, fertility and protection.

Materials and Techniques

Each piece is an original Animalesque illustration and design, screen-printed and handmade using a rich combination of textiles reclaimed from theatre and fashion wardrobes, vintage silk saris, sari trims, block prints and organic cottons mindfully sourced from India.

Handmade in Cornwall by textile artist Sara Lowes.

Due to the handmade nature of Animalesque creations, and the use of vintage and reclaimed materials, each piece is unique and may differ slightly from the product photograph. Please see description for accurate details.

Size

This design is made in one size.

Each headdress ties around the head with ribbons, making them adjustable to fit all head shapes and sizes. Made for both kids and adults.
