The Black Swan Headdress is printed in a charcoal grey on black satin, with a contrasting red silk beak. Adorned with a pink and gold sari trim, nestled into soft black feathers and lined with black sari silk. Hand finished with gold rim black button eyes and black satin ribbons.

This style sits beautifully and effortlessly on your forehead, creating a theatrical swan profile.

Materials and Techniques

Each piece is an original Animalesque illustration and design, screen-printed and handmade using a rich combination of textiles reclaimed from theatre and fashion wardrobes, vintage silk saris, sari trims, block prints and organic cottons mindfully sourced from India.

Handmade in Cornwall by textile artist Sara Lowes.

Due to the handmade nature of Animalesque creations, and the use of vintage and reclaimed materials, each piece is unique and may differ slightly from the product photograph. Please see description for accurate details.

Size

This design is made in one size.

Each headdress ties around the head with ribbons, making them adjustable to fit all head shapes and sizes. Made for both kids and adults.

Delivery

This is a “Made to Order” headdress and can take up to 14 days before dispatch.

If the headdress is ‘in stock’, delivery times from despatch are as follows:

UK Royal Mail 1st Class Signed - 2-4 days

UK Royal Mail Special Delivery – 1-2 days (please email to confirm the urgency of your order)
