Description

The original Magpie illustration is printed in turquoise on black satin. Gold sequins sequins are nestled into soft black feathers with highlights of turquoise and white. Lined with black linen and finished black satin ribbon.

Materials and Techniques

Each piece is an original Animalesque illustration and design, screen-printed and handmade using a rich combination of textiles surplus from theatre and fashion wardrobes and vintage silk saris, trims, block prints and organic cottons mindfully sourced from India.

Handmade in Cornwall by textile artist Sara Lowes.

This design is made in one size.

Each headdress ties around the head with ribbons, making them adjustable to fit all head shapes and sizes. Made for both kids and adults.
