The original Cat illustration is printed in turquoise onto a black fine wool and cotton blend. Adorned with a gold tassel fringe and red pom-poms. Lined with theatre surplus green and cream striped cotton, and finished with antique gold satin ribbon.

Fabrics and Techniques

Each piece is an original Animalesque illustration and design, screen-printed and handmade using a rich combination of surplus theatre materials, vintage sari silks, gold trims and tassels, Indian block prints, colourful pom-poms, and with hand sewn details of sequins, beads and vintage bells.

Made in Cornwall by textile artist Sara Lowes.

This headdress is made in one size with adjustable ribbons to fit all head shapes and sizes.
